Good questions

A few helpful answers

What should I wear?

Formal, cozy, and wintery. The celebration is indoors, but the space has outdoor access—think cozy shawls and layers warm enough to step outside and enjoy the view. The bride will be wearing light purple.

Do I really have to cold plunge?

Yes, absolutely. It’s for the bride.

Can I work out while I’m there?

Yes! Guests staying at Hotel Ballard will have access to our local gym.

Are there any opportunities for tide pooling?

The prime tidepooling window is Sunday evening, just after sunset, when the sea creatures of Constellation Park are uncovered. Molly is fully prepared to abandon any and all post-wedding duties to lead a flashlight-clad expedition in search of anemones, sea cucumbers, and sculpins. Also yes, we did briefly consider scheduling the entire wedding weekend around optimal tide charts. We decided not to, mostly because low tides are annoyingly in the middle of the night in the winter, and asking guests to tidepool at 3am felt like a bridge too far. The Sunday evening window will have to do.
